quickly. Simply position the
sleeves as required, fasten to the
form and pour the concrete

The molded plastic body can be
cut to adjust to the depth of the
pour and is tough enough to resist the rigors of the concrete
finishing process

A variety of accessories permit installation under many
construction conditions including variations in concrete depth and
installation over pan decks
•
The unique chambered intumescent system expands rapidly in the
event of a fire to provide up to a three hour fire rating. A resilient
gasket system seals against the propagation of smoke and
provides additional protection against water exposure

Heat Sinking Device
SpecSeal®

The SpecSeal® T-Collar™ Penetrant Heat-
Sinking Device is a patented design utilizing
sealed thermal heat sink packs, protected by a
strong metal outer shell

The device is secured directly to metal pipes
or conduits on the top side of floors or on both
sides of walls
•
Combined with appropriate SpecSeal® Firestop Products , UL
Systems incorporating this device have been tested to provide T
ratings up to 2 hours
•
Easy to Install
•
Requires no ampacity derating; safer than insulating
•
Code Compliant solutions for T ratings
•
Easily identifiable to ease the inspection process
•
Where codes require equal F and T ratings, the SpecSeal®
T-Collar™ (in conjunction with appropriate SpecSeal® Firestop
Sealants) is used as a heat-sinking device to reduce temperature
transmission through metallic pipes and conduits

SpecSeal® T-Collar™ Penetrant Heat Sinking Devices have been
successfully tested in conjunction with SpecSeal® Firestop
