Sonolastic® Expansion-Joint Filler is a lightweight, resilient, superior-grade polyethylene closed-cell backing for use in expansion joints in traffic-bearing substrates. It has extremely low moisture absorption and readily accepts joint movement

• Lightweight and economical: Less expensive than conventional joint fillers

• Closed-cell polyethylene: Extremely low moisture absorption; helps keep moisture from reaching the back side of joint sealants

• Resilient: Readily accepts joint movement

• Non-impregnated, non-staining, and non-bleeding: Will not discolor sealants or architectural substrates

• Inert: Compatible with cold-applied sealants

• Easy to cut: Not sticky in summer or brittle in winter

• No bondbreaker required: Sealants will not adhere to Expansion-Joint Filler

• Available in a variety of sizes: Provides better performance in all joint sizes

• Ease of installation and peel-off top: Significant cast and time savings
