to attach similar or dissimilar metals, Teks Select™ fasteners have
strength and ductility performance similar to Grade 5 Bolts; these
characteristics in the fasteners load-bearing area improve
resistance to shear failure due to wind and other loads requiring
mechanical flex (ductility)

Twice as Fast As Nuts And Bolts: Installs in half the time required
for nuts and bolts; replaces four installation steps with one

Selective Hardening: The drill point and lead threads are hard
(HRC 52) enough to drill through steel; the load-bearing area
remains soft (HRC 28-34) enough to remain ductile and resist
hydrogen assisted stress cracking

Climaseal ACR: Climaseal Advanced Corrosion Resistance
coating enables Teks Select™ to out perform other selectively
hardened fasteners in a 5% neutral salt spray

Quick Start Drill Point And Efficient Self-Tapping Thread Design:
These features combine to enable Teks Select™ to drill and tap up
to 40% faster than other selectively hardened, drilling and tapping
fasteners
